Responsibilities:
- Writes about technical subjects
for technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Develop copy on a wide variety
of topics for multiple platforms (such as the website, blogs, articles,
and social media)
- Tests and updates existing
documentation
- Adheres to and updates in-house
style guide
- Have technical accuracy in
writing user documentation
- Help other writers in creating
documentation
- Ability to take existing and
potential content and improve it
- Convert complex documentation
to easy language for multiple audiences
- Creates and builds out user
assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help
sections
- Updates, edits, and proofreads
written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides,
and FAQs
- Works closely with subject
matter experts, engineers, project managers, and marketing team

- Help other writers in creating documentation
- Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it
- Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences
- Create product manuals with screenshots and tutorials
- Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections
- Updates, edits, and proofreads written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs
- Works closely with subject matter experts, engineers, project managers, and marketing team
