Special Student Education

If the psychology cannot develop normally, it will definitely lead to serious consequences. As a special class of higher vocational students, special students education in vocational colleges should be guided and improved in a targeted and differentiated manner according to their particularity, so as to achieve good educational effects. How to realize the psychological education of special students in higher vocational colleges has become a key hot issue in higher vocational colleges.

Since the 1990s, with the surge of the commodity economy, people's social family awareness and traditional family concepts have had a great collision. The result is an increase in the divorce rate, a sharp increase in the number of people going abroad, and more and more migrant workers from rural areas. One of the direct results of this change in social and family conditions has brought a considerable number of exceptional students on campus. They are either children of single-parent families or left-behind children.

After such special students education enter higher vocational colleges, they can easily become a special group. Due to their long-term lack of normal and complete family care, they are prone to various psychological distortions, difficulty communicating with others, self-enclosed; strong inferiority complex; extremely low learning enthusiasm; rebellious personality; emotional vulnerability; deformed and precocious. Such students are prone to obstacles, both in study and in life.

Because it is difficult to communicate, it is not easy to teach, and the teacher-student relationship is often bad. For this kind of special student group, a vicious circle often occurs, that is, the teacher is more and more disgusted with the students' words and deeds, and the students are also disgusted with the teacher's actions. Contradictory, and ultimately lead to educational failure, to the students themselves and the school, family, and society have brought great trouble.

Many higher vocational colleges attach great importance to students' mental health education. Some have set up special psychological counseling rooms, set up mental health counseling hotlines and mailboxes, and have professional teachers to provide counseling. However, this type of psychological counseling is still useless for such students.

They either don't have the courage to communicate with psychological counseling teachers, or they simply dismiss psychological counseling and still go their own way. Therefore, to treat such students, we must adopt other ways and methods, guide them to find themselves with special psychological education, and avoid self-indulgence and self-lost in a special period of life such as adolescence, so that they Understand self-management, self-education, and self-service, and then achieve the goals of self-control, self-adjustment, and self-improvement.

So, how to realize the special education for this special group of vocational students? I think:

First of all, we should pay attention to emotional education. How to let students grasp and properly express their own emotions and emotions, so as to learn to effectively control, adjust and reasonably vent their negative emotions, and at the same time, it is particularly important to observe and understand other people's emotions and emotions.

Take a girl in a higher vocational college as an example. After her parents divorced, she was the most taboo about others mentioning her parents' family in front of her, and she couldn't tolerate other students talking about breaking up. I am very disgusted with the family happiness shown by other students, and even develop to feel jealous and hate the parents who come to visit their children at the school gate.

At school, due to her oversensitivity, she tore up the notebook and had a conflict with the teacher in a composition titled "My Parents". When we first came into contact with this girl, we tried to avoid mentioning her extremely sensitive words such as marriage and family. Then show her some movies about the tendency to empathize with divorced families and watch them together. She was easily irritated at first, then wept, and then poured out her heart under our persuasion.

After the repressed grievances, anger, and loneliness have been vented temporarily, we strike while the iron is hot and contact the parents to let them understand the feelings of their children and understand that even though the choice of marriage is a very personal matter, they should take responsibility for their children after the dissolution of the marriage. Some responsibilities.

After the psychological counseling teacher communicated with the parents, the parents gradually changed the grudge-like indifference to the child after the divorce, and began to increase contact with the girl, and the girl's mood gradually became peaceful. They can also calmly accept their parents' new lifestyle, and even encourage their parents to start a new life.

Two years later, when the girl graduated, her parents had formed a new family, and she had changed from being sensitive, vulnerable, melancholy, and irritable two years ago to calm and tolerant, able to judge others by herself, and gradually Mature.

The more the water is full, the more the emotional world of such students is blocked, the more destructive they will be when they explode, and the easier it is to cause great harm to others and themselves. Therefore, timely and reasonable venting, followed by guidance, is the fundamental way to solve the problem. This is the reason for the so-called guidance of those who are determined to envoy for Sichuan.

Secondly, we should do a good job in interpersonal relationship guidance. Help students correctly understand the nature of the relationship between relatives, teachers and students, and classmates, and learn the skills and principles in dealing with interpersonal communication, including resolving conflicts between classmates, cooperation and competition, and mutual respect and support between teachers and students. Let's look at another example: a boy from a vocational college comes from a mountainous area, his parents are working in Zhejiang, and his work is very busy.

He lacked care since he was a child and was very independent, but his personality was too introverted and he rejected any normal communication with people. He refused to participate in all activities inside and outside the school, refused to speak and answer questions during class, and always hid aside in a daze or studied by himself after class. He studies hard, but his grades are always in the middle and lower grades. We realized from the head teacher's reflection that if things go on like this, it will be very difficult for this boy to get a job in society, because it will be difficult for him to work in this outgoing and communicative society. find a foothold.

After learning about these situations, and according to his characteristics, we asked his favorite and trusted professional teacher to set up several collective cooperation groups in the class to complete a small project. This project requires everyone to work together. We consciously arranged some students who are usually cheerful and humorous to be in a group with him.

At the beginning, he was very disgusted with these laughing classmates, and even asked the teacher to transfer him to another group. But gradually, he felt the enthusiasm and vitality emanating from these students, and gradually integrated into this stress-free learning method. His carefulness just made up for the carelessness of other group members, and both sides benefited.

After the collaborative group was over, we suggested to his class teacher that he would be recommended to the photography club he was interested in, and often participated in field photography activities, which improved his quality of life after school and broadened his mind. This successful case also made us realize that the autism of many students is due to the lack of a suitable environment. If possible, we should try our best to create a suitable environment for such special students and guide them to return to a normal state of mind. .
